The following literary competitions are going to be held in Islamabad, Pakistan (for local and foreign authors) regarding books/ articles written about Naats and Seerat-e-Nabvi (PBUH):
Competition No. 1 - Books about Seerat:
1. Three cash prizes of Pak Rs. 60,000/-, Rs. 40,000/- and Rs. 30,000/- would be awarded to three Urdu books.
2. One cash prize of Pak Rs. 30,000/- for book written in regional Pakistani language.
3. Three cash prizes of Pak Rs. 30,000/-, Rs. 20,000/- and Rs. 15,000/- for Urdu books (about Prophet Muhammad PBUH) written for children.
4. One prize of US $ 2,000/- for book (about Prophet Muhammad PBUH) written by foreign authors in foreign language.
Competition No. 2 - Books about Naat:
1. Three cash prizes of Rs. 40,000/-, Rs. 30,000/- and Rs. 25,000/-
2. One cash prize of Rs. 25,000/- for book written in regional Pakistani language.
Competition No. 3 - Books written by Ladies:
1. Three cash prizes of Rs. 60,000/-, Rs. 40,000/- and Rs. 30,000/- for books written about Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
Competition No. 4 - Magazines about Seerat or Naats:
1. Three Cash prizes of Rs. 25,000/-, Rs. 20,000/- and Rs. 15,000/-.
Competition No. 5 - Urdu Essay/ Article on Taleemat-e-Nabvi (PBUH) Aur Alamgir Tehzib ka Tasawur:
1. Two cash awards of Rs. 15,000/-, Rs. 10,000/- saperately for Pakistani male and female writers only.
The last date to join this competition is October 20, 2008. Authors are requested to send 8 copies of their books/ articles to:
